Sophrology review # 39 – Sophrology News

You may be lucky to still be on the beaches of France or on the go in a distant land. Take advantage of these moments disconnected from hectic life. Besides, Sophro-Actu is accompanying you again this week with a new sophrological review.

Epilepsy and sophrology

Let’s start this new sophrological review with a podcast put online in the fall of 2012 devoted to the application of sophrology in the case of a 9-year-old child with epilepsy.

The little girl had been redirected to the sophrologist Frédérique Pezres by the neurologist who followed her. The therapist entrusts her experience to Radio Médecine Douce.

The podcast is accessible and downloadable below and on the radio site.

A sophro workshop at the dojo

The municipal dojo of Vieux-Condé, a locality on the outskirts of Valenciennes, is preparing for its return by setting up a health center. The structure aims to allow its users to flourish both on a physical and mental level.

The structure wishes in particular to reduce stress by offering its members to practice sophrology. The sessions will be led by the doctor and radiologist Alain Penalva.

We had relayed in the previous post the presence of sophrology in a sequence from Télématin. The show is no longer available on the Pluzz in France, but the teams from the Sophrology Training Institute have sent us the podcast that we integrated into the article.
