The importance of supportive oncology care

The third Cancer plan implemented by the government since 2014 and for the next 5 years had already stressed the importance of oncological supportive care, in other words the complementary care that is now offered to people with cancer to relieve effects of treatments and promote the recovery process.

The national daily The cross echoes today a study conducted for almost 6 months among 14 women with cancer. These women followed the Papillon Effect through regular sophrology, socio-aesthetic sessions and the use of the Bliss social network. The study found that these patients were much less stressed and better about themselves.

On June 25 in Nantes, the final results will be presented at a conference dedicated to palliative care.
